A few glitches w/awkward instructions but otherwise, it performs as expected.
A bit difficult to put together but great unit. Nice and compact for a small space.
great cabinet but, long on the assembly requirements. and at least needs two people to assemble. once together it is a asset to have.
It was a bear to assemble, but once it was together it was well worth it. Following along with the online assembly video is a must. The cabinet is good quality, very attractive and extremely functional. I had to deal with the company and must say their customer service is superb!
Quality product, was not difficult to assemble. You need two people to put it together though.
The Sewing Cabinet is a perfect size to fit into my small space in the living room. It's a good, sturdy unit that was easy to assemble. If you have ever assembled book cases, desks, etc, you will have no problem putting this together. It took me less than 2 hours (including time to allow my 19 month grandson to "help").
My wife and I looked at many sewing tables at stores in the area without finding what she wanted. This one fit the bill exactly. Many reviewers comment on the difficulty assembling it from the directions provided, however as another review points out the manual mentions the website with pictures. If you go there you will find videos showing the complete assembly. I'm not saying it is a 15 minute job, but if you watch the video and read the manual you should not have any problems. Everything on mine was drilled properly and fit well, probably took me a leisurely 90 minutes working alone.
I had looked quite a while for a sewing machine cabinet that was not too large but looked nice when folded up. This piece looks really great. I put it together myself without too much trouble, including the hydraulic part of it that makes the machine go into the storage part of the unit. I like the space it provides next to the sewing machine when folded out, and the storage for thread and other sewing items. Nicely designed.
