    • Awesome!

      by R. Stanley – 19th Jan 2012

I had a Rowenta Years ago when they were made in Germany. It lasted for over 15 years. I wanted to replace it but I was very concerned after reading all the horrible reviews from the Rowenta irons made in China. I researched for a long time before purchasing this Rowenta (which is made in France). I LOVE IT! It does make a loud sound for about 3 seconds, periodically when it is dispersing water into the chamber, but the trade off is being able to fill up the water without waiting for it to cool down. It is an awesome iron I highly recommend it!
