The BetterBoard comes completely assembled with a smooth laminated surface and a fitted ironing cover with protective pad. It features bottom railings that are 16" wide and will fit over most standard ironing boards. It is great for pressing lengths of fabric and quilt tops easily and quickly. It is so nice to have a high work surface. I don’t really use it for ironing, it is my cutting and work table for quilting. It’s also good for layering my quilts! It is kind of heavy, I don’t really take it down, it’s always set up for work. I’m really happy with it.

It huge, requires no special tools to set it up and gives you a nice big workspace to iron your quilt backs and quilt tops!

This is the best ironing surface ever. I'm a quilter. It's large and sturdy. I did buy a sturdier ironing board with rubber bottoms thinking it might slip on my old janky ironing board and fall and kill my dog. The ironing board itself was a step up, but the better board is a quilting luxury. I got this up on the ironing board by myself but it wasn't easy. Two people recommended. Also, because of the weight of the better board, lowering your ironing board with this on top isn't going to go well. Get it where you want it before putting the better board on top.

This makes pressing seams on quilts so much easier and faster. Every quilter should try this. Very durable and folds in half for storage. Comes with cover.

I love this! Had a DIY pattern for my husband to make me a similar one, but it never happened. Used my birthday gift card and bought this. Not only is this USA made, I'm also supporting my local town merchant in Downers Grove. Very well made and I love the fact that it's hinged to fold closed and lock plus has the carrying handle. Fits perfectly over my ironing board. Doesn't get much better than that. Has a cover and light padding. As a personal preference, I may add another layer of padding, but works great without.
