Sometimes referred to as the Walking Foot, The Even Feed Foot is designed with a set of feed dogs which allow the fabric to reed without shifting and eliminates the problem of the under layer of fabric  coming up short. The Even Feed Foot is also great for topstitching. It eliminates seam allowance bulk around collars and reveres.

This Janome foot was great but the vendor was even better! Fairly priced and superfast shipping! Thank you, SewVacDirect!

My feeding foot arrived quickly. It was new still in the package just like in the picture. It fits my Janome 2212 and works beautifully.

Kept me warm last winter without destroying my budget. Did not warm the large room, but aimed at my chair, I was toasty warm.

This product is good, but not the best walking foot I've ever ...

This product is good, but not the best walking foot I've ever seen. Plastic feed dogs... It works good, not great. Worth the purchase once.

    Makes quilting easier

Posted by Horserider on 20th Oct 2017

I bought this walking foot to fit my DC2015 Janome sewing machine. Because of the reviews and questions I knew it would fit. I am glad to have found this foot. It fits very well and feeds the quilted material sandwich through the machine easily.

    Fantastic product.

    Posted by Gayle L. Brosnan-Watters on 20th Oct 2017

I have just finished quilting a small quilt with this walking foot/even feed foot, and it works GREAT!! In fact, this little Janome DC1050 and that walking foot work better than my 1200 Bernina. No bunching, no problems, just great!!

    Great

Janome products always work as advertised and are simple to use. This one tho could have been helped with some instructions as to how to attach and use. Had to go to the Janome website to figure it out. I'm a novice quilter so maybe for experts those instructions are not needed but hey guys...we all were new to sewing at one time.

Might not be authentic... but works quietly.

Posted by Megan D. on 18th Oct 2017

The feed dog on the right didnt quite line up with the foot, which surprised me considering this is labeled by the seller (not Amazon) as a Janome product. That, combined with the generic packaging, leads me to believe what I received is probably not authentic. I knew there was a chance when I purchased it at about half price of a quilt store, and was willing to the the chance. But it works, and is quieter than my Singer machine with its genuine foot.
