    Easy to use

I have arthritis in my hands and fingers. With the larger finger loops, it makes them so much easier to use. They're lightweight and easier to maneuver over an embroidery hoop. And they're the only ones I use at my sewing machine. Absolutely love them!

    Wife wanted longer pair!

Posted by LJO on 3rd May 2019

I bought these for my wife who does a lot of embroidery and other sewing task. She has many scissors but none that were double curved. When she open them up her comment was, those are short, so I ordered a longer pair from Nancy's Notions! There is nothing wrong with them, there just not right for my wife.

    Best scissors for appliqué ever!

Posted by Okie on 30th Apr 2019

Bought these scissors after getting an embroidery machine and fallng in love with appliqué. It was difficult to trim close enough to the design even with my smallest pair of scissors. These changed everything! They are sharp, easy to handle, and changed a frustrating task to an easy one! They arrived quickly and were priced within the range of my budget. Love, love!

    Great scissors for applique

Posted by Marty on 30th Apr 2019

These applique scissors are great. I tried the duck bill scissors and was not happy with my finished product. These are great, they get right down to the seam so you don't have those nasty little strings sticking up after you do the finishing stitch. They are small enough you can get right down into the hoop. The are also sharp all the way to the tip of the scissors. A must have for those of you that embroidery and applique. I love them and would definitely recommend these to all who love to embroidery and applique.

By far the best I've used for appliqué! Wish I would have found these first!

OMG, I absolutely love these. I do a lot of machine embroidery and appliqué and these are the best I've found for trimming away small areas of fabric and stabilizers and are easy to get into a 1/4" seam to trim bulk. They're super sharp, cut smoothly and I've used them on many different types of fabric and thin battings with ease and precision.

    Recommend for embroidery/applique

Posted by Tim on 30th Apr 2019

I originally bought these for cutting jump stitches because they trim very close as the blades are thin and sharp. The small size makes them great for reaching into the hoop while on the machine. Be care as to not snag your fabric, they are pointy! I have 'duckbill' scissors for trimming applique which work well, however, these are now my go to scissors for applique as well. I find them easy to guide because they are small and they get really close. Much easier to reach into a hooped bodysuit to trim. The reason I don't give 5 stars is because I think they could be smoother to open and close. They seem to take a little work. My gingher duckbill are smoother/easier. I'm trying to decide between getting another of these or a ginger 4" curved tip as a second pair. Updating my review and changing to 5 stars. I've been using these a long while now and as a second pair I bought gingher 4" ones that kind of look like these. I prefer the Havel. They are lighter and just easier to handle to me.
