Extremely nice--do not have to lift fabric up from table
I liked not having to lift my fabric off the table to cut it. It helps to get a more accurate cut. The scissor was comfortable to hold.
The best sewing aid I have bought in years. I'm 70 and have been sewing forever, sadly arthritic pain in my right hand has made cutting out garments increasingly difficult. These shears have changed everything for me. The angle of the handle in relation to the blade gives me precise control in any situation and my hand never tires even after a cutting marathon because the blades are so sharp the cutting is smooth and effortless.
The shears work beautifully with any fabric from a sheer rayon to a heavy duty wool suiting as we move into Autumn here in Australia. I could not recommend these Fiskars shears strongly enough - I just love them. Kath Truran
These may not be the most expensive or top of the line scissors, but I am very happy with them. They are sharp and they made my sewing project easier than the old pair I had. My hand wasn't cramping and they cut fast and kept the fabric close to the table.
First thing I want to mention is that I love the way the blades are parallel to the fabric and cutting surface. They are lightweight and very sharp. I have been sewing for decades and have used many types of scissors, from the economy-priced to the expensive. I prefer using these scissors when cutting on a flat surface.
