Greatest thing since sliced bread
This is the 3rd one of these seam rippers I have purchased over many years. I haven't bought that many because the old one wore out, but rather because I wanted to have one handy is several places. This is the best seam ripper I have ever used. The blades stay sharp and work fast and easy when taking out seams. I won't use the old kind of seam ripper any more.

Sharp sharp sharp!
I'm used to the classic 2 fork style seam ripper but got this as a gift because my old one got dull. Holy smokes, it's sharp!! It's surgical grade super sharp. I hope your hands are steady when you use this! It worked amazingly for removing stubborn stitches and for unwanted old embroidery. My only complaint is you can so easily accidentally cut your fabric since there's no guide, so be careful! Other than that, if you're a frequent crafter, I'd keep one of these alongside the classic. Both work great for different uses.
