Janome Top-Load - Gathering Foot

This foot is used to create soft gathers in lightweight fabrics. The underside of the foot is behind the needle and has a thick far in front of the needle to gather and attach a ruffle onto a flat piece of fabric simultaneously. Use a ruffle for a more dramatic gather.
