The Blind Hem Foot goes a long way in helping to improve the sometimes tricky Blind hem stitch. The metal guides in the center of the foot and the 3 grooves on the underside keep the fabric snugly fit against the foot for accuracy and help to prevent unnecessary slipping. The needle swings over the metal guide creating slack in the upper tension so that the pick of the stitch is almost invisible.

Blind hem foot
MY sister gave me her well used Janome sewing machine. It was was missing some feet. I was able to locate the much needed feet at SewVac Direct. I put the blind hem foot to immediate use on some items that i had sewn and not hemmed and the hems turned out perfect.
