Solves several problems!

The Seam Foot is like the regular walking foot on the Janome, only there is a 1/4 inch stitch guide. You merely move the needle to the 5.5 setting, and then both feed dogs are in action to sew the seam. Makes a much better seam as the fabric is guided through the machine evenly. I have used the seam foot several times now, with excellent results. As for the straight stitch needle plate, I wish I'd got one much earlier. It's great for quilting and straight stitching, preventing the fabric at the beginning of a seam from being pulled into the needle plate. I'm very happy with these new items and look for much improvement in my piecing and quilting!

I have been wanting the single hole plate for a long time. After I struggled on a project, my sewing teacher suggested I purchase a single hole plate. It was nice to get the guide foot. I love my Janome 6600. I was not expecting to get both together. Nice.
