One Step™ Plate ConverterUsing the right tools at the righttime is important in sewing. Whenusing lightweight fabrics, orpiecing quilts, a straight stitchneedle plate makes all thedifference. Our One Step™ PlateConverter allows you to easilyswitch and use the perfect platefor your project. Simply pressa button to release one plate;then snap a new one in place –it takes only seconds, with no screwdrivers required!This system also includes a sensor that will only allowa straight stitch to be sewn when the Straight StitchNeedle Plate is in place, so you never have to worryabout breaking a needle! Bobbin Thread SensorWhen embroidering or sewing large projects, it issometimes diffi cult to keep track of how muchbobbin thread is left. The bobbin thread sensor alertsyou when your bobbin thread is running low – soyou’re never caught in the middle of a seam or embroiderycolor. The Horizon Memory Craft 12000 has anadvanced sensor system which allows you to set thelevel of sensitivity for the alert – customize it for largescale embroidery projects, when you want to makesure you always have plenty of bobbin thread, orsmall projects with short seams. This feature is also veryhelpful for sewing with different thread thicknesses.You can increase the sensitivity when using a thickbobbin thread, and lower it for thin threads.

Variable Zig Zag™Advanced tools give advanced abilities for creativeexpression. The Horizon Memory Craft 1200 includesan all new feature: Variable Zig Zag™. This featureenables precision control over the stitch width via theknee lift! Thread painters will rejoice at the ease ofcontrol of the stitch width. Template Alignment GuidesTemplate alignment guides are built into borderdesigns. The design automatically creates smallbasting stitches to allow for perfect placement of yourdesigns, so you can easily create seamless borders.Simply use the jog keys to move the hoop for precisealignment.

AcuGuide™ Cloth GuideNow your seam allowances can be as accurate asour precision embroidery system. Simply snap the clothguide into onto the carriage arm of the embroiderymechanism and enter your desired seam allowance.The guide features a long; raised lip, for perfectlyguiding your fabric, and seams can be set between1/16” to the left of the needle to 8 ¼” to the right ofthe needle. The carriage moves every 0.1mm forfinely-tuned settings.

Automatic Presser Foot PressureA fabric sensor automatically detects the thickness offabric, and adjusts the downward pressure placed onthe fabric accordingly. This ensures that your fabricnever slips, yet your fabric moves smoothly and easilyas you sew. The presser foot pressure can also beadjusted manually in the setting mode. This allows youto reduce the pressure on thicker fabrics, or to set toyour own personal preferences.

Improved Ergonomic Knee LiftJanome engineers never stop improving. The kneelift has been redesigned to make it ergonomic andadjustable to accommodate sewists of most any sizeor height. They also tweaked this design to make theknee lift function perfectly with the super long (11”)arm of the machine. You can now sit directly in frontof the needle with the knee lift perfectly positionedfor free-motion quilting, variable zig zag, or generalsewing.
