Janome 9mm Even Feed Foot
The Even Feed Foot, sometimes referred to as the walking foot, is designed with a set of feed dogs which allow the fabric to feed without shirting and eliminates the problem of the under layer of fabric coming up short. The even feed foot is also great for top stitching, which can be spoil due to irregularity of stitching. This is often caused by the bulk created with the seam allowance especially around collars and reveres. using the walking foot for top stitching will eliminate this problem and give perfect stitching every time. The Janome 9mm Even Feed Foot for Skyline S5 and 9900 has a standard closed toe and does not include a guide.

It's working well so far!
The even-feed foot that came with my machine (Skyline S5) did not work (and fell apart)the very first time I used it. The dealer replaced it and that one quickly fell apart too. This one seems to be sturdier and better made (more like the one for my old Memorycraft 8000). (Which still works!)
