The Grace Z44 is the top-of-the-line quilting frame. It is the most adjustable quilting frame anywhere!

The Z44 comes equipped with all of the necessary extensions to set up the frame as a King 109", Queen 95", Twin 73", and Crib 59". You virtually receive four frames for the price of one, making it the most cost effective system on the market.

Each layer of fabric is held on its own rail where you have absolute control over it. All layers come together in the front of the frame where they are comfortably quilted. Our raised middle rail keeps all layers firmly together with no sagging, shifting, separating, and no basting!

The Z44 frame is also compact-- only 35 inches from front to back giving you a 14 inch tiltable work area. Two sets of braces underneath the frame provide stability without compromising any leg space.

Completely Adjustable:

Now there is a quilting system that can accommodate any seating height. The new ratcheting height adjustment allows you to effortlessly raise or lower the frame to several different heights-no tools required. You can even quilt standing up. The Z44 has a ratchet tilt design that allows the work area to tilt to six different positions, from horizontal to nearly vertical. You no longer have to sit in the same position when you quilt. The unique "Z" design puts the pivot point in the front, so no matter what angle you have it, you will never lose your leg space. All adjustments can be done in seconds, with no tools required.

Fourth Rail Comes Standard:

The Z44 is the first and only frame that comes standard with four rails. The Fourth Rail Kit holds the batting independent from the other fabric layers. This makes it much easier to manage, especially when the batting is thick or delicate.

Smooth Rolling Ratchet Wheels:

Extra-large 50-tooth ratchet wheels provide the finest tension control of any frame ever. The stops have a double-lock design to eliminate the chance of the tension slipping.

Includes New Fabri-Fast Rails:

This is a no-baste, four-rail system. Our custom-designed rails come with the new Fabri-Fast™ system for fast and easy fabric installation-- no tape or tacks needed!

Rail Extensions Included:

Rail extension are equipped with inside connectors making the diameter of the rails niform the entire length, from crib to king size. Fabric rolls on smoothly, without any variance, bumps, or bunches.

Folds up for easy storage:

The Z44 can be folded partially or completely, without any tools, while the fabric remains in place. When completely folded the frame is about 17" flat and is free-standing.

The Z44 is made with premium Baltic birch hardwood plywood and poplar hardwood. The poles are multi-layered laminations of premium Alderwood. This material will not warp or twist and is designed for many years of very heavy use. Two sets of braces underneath the frame provide ridged stability without compromising any leg space. The Z44 is also compact-only 35 Inches from front to back giving you a 14" tiltable work area.

several years ago I purchased a Z44 and later moved and had no where to put it because of space. Four years ago I donated it to our senior citizen center and it is used five days a week and still going strong. I am proud of the durability and use this frame provides. Thank you for a well made unit.

Ordered one day, received next day. Great service. I am glad my husband is good at putting things together, took 5 hours but is well worth it. Hardest part was getting the tubing in the slot. Put it in the sun so was easier to handle. The frame is wonderful and I have a quilt ready to put on. Amazing with so many parts, everything was there.

I am surprised at how well this quilting frame works. Although I had one piece that had a crack they were quick to send a replacement piece (1 day). I do a lot of quilting and have very little room for a standard quilting frame. This company is quick to solve your problems and provides an exceptionally well designed produce that actually does what is say it will do.

I have given there name and number to all my friends who quilt and everyone who has purchased from Grace are pleased with the product. Simple directions, excellent quality of wood and most importantly you get what you pay for. Love the product

Arrived in 2 days (shocking). All parts were there. Took about 1 1/2 hours to assemble. Quality item. My wife was really pleased. Recommend for anyone who is serious about quilting.

Directions for putting the Graze Z44 together were very easy to follow. My husband helped me and it did take some time. All the parts were there and each step gave a list of parts needed and easy to follow directions. I have had my frame set up for about a week now and have been doing some hand quilting almost every day. The hardest thing was getting the tubes to push into the metal poles. I would recommend redesigning the tool so it can't slip off the rail - something that has "wings" to wrap around the pole. Also there are some typos in the directions. -- Oh, and make the plastic tubes a little longer.

I bought my Z44 frame about a year ago. It works great! Yes, it was a challenge to put together. I really like the way it folds up for storage. And the way the fabric attaches, the rollers work, tension...all are almost indescribably easy! Thanks, Grace Company! and SewVacDirect :) !

I love quilting frame. But it is a bugger to put togather. I really did not mind so much, but the directions could be a little bit clearer. Especially the leg directions and the ratcheting process. Also how to attach the batting to the frame. But it is nice quilting frame and suites my purpose extremely well.

I've been looking for a frame that was of good quality and price so I read up and bought the Grace Z44, So far I haven't used it but My husband and I were ready for a long challengeing process that always comes with putting things together, but we were very surprised at how easy, stressless and simple it was to put it together, the directions were easy to read and understand. This was my first order from the sewvacdirect and I'll be useing them again, THANKS

I received it on day promised. After I got it stained/sealed I read all the instructions. After it was dry I started assembling it. Took me about 4 1/2 hours to put together for twin size. I already have a quilt on it! I absolutely love it! Loading it is so much easier than the one I replaced. No more thumbtacks! I made the leader cloths and those were easy to make too. I would recommend this to anyone!!! The adjustments are so much easier too!!
