Introducing the new GMQ-Pro No-baste Machine Quilter:
The Grace Company, makers of fine hand quilting products, have now developed the perfect frame for machine quilters: The all-inclusive quilting machine system! The GMQ Pro is ideal for any home sewing machine (even mid-arm or long-arm machines), the carriage rides along seamless tracking for no-bump machine traveling.
Rail extensions (included) take the frame out to king (128"), queen size (104"), or you may set it up in crib (70").
Overall dimensions of frame are 36" deep and 134" wide.

Quilt on Either Side of the Frame:
Easy-grip handles allow quilting from both sides of the frame. Handles are extendable to accommodate comfortable height and standing distance from the frame.

New Smooth, Seamless Tracking No Metal on Metal:
The key to the entire system is how the sewing machine tracks. With the GMQ your machine rests on two specially designed, sturdy plates that track perfectly with ball-bearing rollers for an incredibly smooth ride. There is no wobbling. These plates allow for up to 20 inches of forward/reverse travel in the work area. The only limit to your reach is your own machine.

The tracks for the bottom plate are engineered specifically for the GMQ out of ABS plastic. During the research stage we experimented with several different combinations of material, including metal tracking, but then we found the feel of metal-on-metal to be too cold and noisy like fingernails on a chalkboard. After trying the cushioned, smooth ride of steel wheels on plastic, it was an easy decision. The tracks are in-set on the tabletops in pre-cut grooves, so they automatically align and are guaranteed to stay straight, so you never have to worry about them being mis-aligned! With the track being one single length, there is no worry of seams or bumps.
Excellent Tension Control:
Front to back tension is controlled with three high-precision 30-tooth ratchet wheels. These provide easy, smooth rolling of your fabric, and accurate re-setting of the tension. The double-locking stops hold the wheels in place when not rolling.

Easy and Accurate Fabric Installation:
This is a no-baste, four-rail system. Our custom designed rails come with the new Fabri-Fast system for fast and easy fabric installation. Simply push your fabric and tubing into the Fabri-Fast slot with the Fabri-fast tool included. Fabric goes in and stays in straight and clean. - No tape needed!

Added Stability:
Ensure a smooth level traveling surface with these easy-to-adjust leveling feet.

New Pivoting Rails:
Inspect your stitches and get easy access to change your bobbin with our new easy-lift rail mount system. The bottom two rails lift up, out of the way, while preserving the tension in your work area.

Easier Side Tension System:
The GMQ-Pro comes with four side-tension clamps (two for each side). Simply apply the clamp then pull and secure the bungee cord in the side slot. Fast and easy!

The GMQ-Pro's Sturdy design includes table tops ideal for pantographs (pointer included). Aluminum track supports add to the frames robust construction and professional appearance.

- Two Types of Quilting Foot / Drop Feed
Two typed of quilting feet are supplied as standard accessories with the machine. A 1/5 Quilting Foot is used for basic quilting and the Quilting Foot for precision sewing with 1/4"inch stitch width. The feed dog can be raised and lowered simply by depressing a switch. When quilting, the drop feed allows you to sew curved stitches with ease.
- Even Feed Foot
With its reliable feed, the even feed foot ensures the machine's ability to produce beautiful seams when sewing difficult-to-feed fabrics such as georgette and velvet, as well as heavy weight materials such as leather.
- Automatic Thread Trimmer
The machine is equipped with an automatic thread trimming device that simultaneously cuts the needle and bobbin threads at the sewing end by lightly pressing the push-button. It uses the thread trimming mechanism that is similar to the industrial sewing machine type.
- Foot Pedal Switch for Thread Trimming
As with an industrial sewing machine, the thread trimmer can be activated with the foot pedal switch. It greatly increases sewing efficiency.
- Easy Bobbin Replacement
A new bobbin case latch and an enlarged bobbin case area make it easier to remove and replace the bobbin.
- Automatic Needle Threader
The push lever automatic needle threader easily threads the needle without eyestrain and allows you to start sewing quickly.
- Knee Lifter Lever
The knee lifter lever allows you to lift / lower the presser foot without using your hands.
- Adjustment of Presser Foot Pressure
Presser foot pressure can be adjusted according to the fabric being sewn by turning a regulator located on the top of the machine.
